Chairperson of SfC; an NGO with a mission of making education accessible to underprivileged children around the world. Funding projects that focus on increasing the number of children who receive an education, progressing the quality of education in developing countries and increasing access to theoretical and vocational education to enhance practical skills.

Representing UvA to prospective students by sharing first-hand experiences of the degree programs, teaching style, living in Amsterdam, and more, in events (such as open days, webinars etc.) and by answering questions on an online chat platform called Unibuddy.

• A total of 322 conversations and 1645 messages were exchanged with prospective students.

Tutorial teacher for 3 classes of ~20 first-year Bachelors Economics & Business students.

 During the tutorials on Skills and Connect (part 1 of course Principles of Economics and Business 2, 6011P0212Y) students will learn to formulate goals; get acquainted with the university; they will practice different study methods; learn soft skills like time management; and hard skills like excel. They will also do assignments (like essays and presentations) to reflect on their progression, enabling them to obtain their goals.

Received a score of 9+ from students via the evaluation form on all teaching periods

Took a study break to become a full-time member of the first international Board of the VSPA in the 81-year history of the organization. My position at the VSPA enabled me to help students while running the organization itself with 1800+ members, 27 committees and 50+ events per year. 

As the Officer of Sales & Acquisition, I worked on external partnerships of the VSPA, sales of educational resources, managing the vacancy bank and social media platforms, and generating additional revenue streams for the association.

Next to my Board year, I also worked as an assistant for the UvA Summer Programmes Office. My responsibilities included:

• Assisting the faculty, Academic Directors and Programme Coordinators with the daily operational tasks surrounding programme management.

• Creating, maintaining and updating databases, assisting with the admissions process (conducting a first check on all application documents and maintaining contact with applicants).

• Handling marketing, scheduling and organizing appointments, bookings, and reservations for courses.

•  Planning and taking groups of students on programme-related excursions (e.g. visit to the International Criminal Court)

• Updating the digital learning environment (Canvas), and social media platforms.

E-volunteering in SosyalBen Foundation, which aims to enable children between the ages of 7-13 in disadvantaged areas to explore and develop their talents, to produce social benefits in the online environment

• Organizing and leading biweekly meetings for 2 committees (Digital Field and Capacity Building)

• Conducting online real-time educational workshops (through Zoom every week) for children to access

• Generating innovational ideas to strengthen the concept of e-volunteerism

As I e-volunteered in SosyalBen for a few months as a really active team member, I got asked to help in creating and supervising workshop content, and assisting communication between volunteers and children/parents for the Digital Field team.

Due to my relative experience, I also got trained in volunteer training and handled this for the newly arriving e-volunteers.

I and my team of 4 people acted as mentors/supervisors for new volunteers and organized all of the workshops with the children in our perspective fields.

Head of promotion for the 'Awareness Committee' raising awareness about current world problems among students at the UvA.

Hosted two events related to volunteering as Secretary for the 'Conference Committee' organizing a large-scale Psychology-related conference - “The Sleep Journey: Psychology of Sleep and Dreams”, attended by 300+ participants
